Our Journey & History
Hazara Electric Supply Company (HAZECO) was established to serve the specific power distribution needs of the Hazara division. Originally part of PESCO, HAZECO was carved out to ensure better management and focused development of the electrical infrastructure in the region. Since its inception, HAZECO has been striving to expand its network and improve the quality of service for its consumers.

Mr. Himayat Ullah Khan
Chairman of the Board
Mr. Himayat Ullah Khan possesses over 42 years of distinguished experience in policy formulation, regulation, and operations with the Federal and Provincial Governments. He holds a Masters degree in Economics from the University of Peshawar and has received advanced training from internationally renowned institutions, including Harvard University and the University of Sussex.

Mr. Fazal-e-Khaliq
Director
Mr. Fazal e Khaliq holds a Bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and brings over 40 years of rich experience in Pakistan power sector. He served as Chief Engineer in different leading distribution companies.

Ms. Saima Akbar Khattak is a corporate lawyer with extensive experience working both in-house and with reputed international law firms. Her areas of expertise include Energy, Oil & Gas, and Corporate Governance.

Mr. Saud Azam is a seasoned banking professional with over 20 years of experience in Pakistan financial sector. He leads corporate operations across the northern region for Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan.
